Over the past decade, Billy Bean has emerged as one of the LGBT athletic community’s most influential leaders. He has inspired audiences all across America with his difficult, personal journey as a closeted big league baseball player. As MLB’s first Ambassador for Inclusion and the author of Going the Other Way: An Intimate Memoir of Life In and Out of Major League Baseball, Billy has advanced the diversity conversation in professional sports and continues to blaze a path for the LGBT community.
